FTP Instructions

If your artwork is too big to email, you can send it to us using a method known as FTP (stands for File Transfer Protocol).  It sounds complicated, but it’s pretty easy to use.

First of all, you need an FTP program.  There’s lots of great programs that you can buy, or you can use a free one.

“FileZilla” is a free one.

Downloading FileZilla

  • Visit the FileZilla website
  • Click the “Download FileZilla Client” button
  • Choose which version you need – probably the top Windows option.
  • Run the file you just downloaded to install the software.

Installing FileZilla

If you’ve ever installed software before, you’ll be familiar with the process.  Click “I Agree” to the license agreement, then keep clicking Next until the process is complete.

Run the program when you’re finished.

Using FileZilla

The first time you open FileZilla, you’ll need to configure it to connect to our server.  There are some pretty good instructions here.

Here’s how to connect to our server:

  • Go to the File menu, and choose Site Manager
  • Click “New Site”
  • Fill out these details
    • Host: laminating.net.ua
    • Port: 21
    • Encryption: Use plain FTP
    • Logon Type: Normal
    • User: (see below)
    • Password: (see below)
  • Then click the Connect button

To get a username and password, please contact us.

Once You’re Connected

Now that you’re connected, you’ll see your computer on the left, and our remote server on the right.  You can find the files on your computer on the left, then drag them over to the right to upload them to our server.

When you have uploaded your files, please let us know immediately so that we can download and process your artwork.

Any questions please let us know on 07 5591 6833.
